Overview:

Join our community of professionals who care deeply about the human and animal connection. This course will repeat regularly with a new book selection each time. Books will be selected based on topics that explore the relatedness between animals and humans. We will consider each book’s content to improve relationships with animals, including their well being and how we can partner better in animal-assisted therapies.

Each month we will review sections of the book, and jointly discuss ways to apply the content.
Attendees will be supported in applying topics to their specific environments, professional competencies, and needs.

By providing a supportive environment to collaborate with other professionals, the program will encourage self-reflection, cooperative consultation, and improvement of the delivery of services.
